New water flow!

So I ordered a new mag drive 9.5 return pump and an SCWD wave maker. My question is at what point should I put the SCWD, right after the pump or higher up? How much flow will I get at the outputs? How much flow can a 1" standpipe with a strainer on it get?

Seems like all the pics of these I have seen are with the SCWd at the top of the tank or there abouts. I would think at the Y, you would not want to push up after that.

I second the higher up for the SCWD. If it's lower, you'll have more overall piping which means more pressure loss.
