New World Cichlid Tank Setup

Hello ,

So i have a 72 Gallon bowfront aquarium that is currently cycling. I have decided on putting a pair of Firemouths and a pair of Bristlenose plecos into the tank but i have a few questions first...

1.Would a convict cichlid be a bad choice for the tank?
2.How about a Blue Acara?
3. Any tips or concerns are appreciated.

Convict would be fine but not sure about the Blue Acara. Think they quite peaceful so might be a bad idea.

I think both the con/acara would work. Even though the acara is a more peaceful SA at the end of the day it's still a cichlid and larger then both a fm/con and will not take any tude from them.

I'd get a female con. She would be smaller, which could help with aggression issues.
