Newbie 10 gal Nano Questions

Yeah, see I live on a farm about an hour and a half away from any city. My grandmother would have to receive them for me and I'd have to go pick them up that day for another hour and a half trip back. She's getting a little *ahem* old, and I think I would worry about it way too much lol.
 
Haha yeah, its definitely a pain when it comes to fish. The only pet store we have there has sold me 3 batches of diseased fish. 4 cichlids with ich, as well as two plecos. And 2 fancy goldfish with some bad fin rot problems. Not to mention the bag of 8 comet goldfish I got that died that day, 2 on the way home. (My fault though, they were bottom of the tank feeder fish. I didn't think there were any live ones left till he stuck a net in there) Our walmart doesn't even have a fish section any more
