The legs may well have been missing before you bought it. They will grow back though so don't worry about it. Things will settle down once everyone establishes their own territory.

Be aware that the brine shrimp has little to no nutritional value at all unless you fortify it yourself. You would do well to alternate it with other meaty foods or even flakes.
 
The one I'd recommend for soaking the Brine shrimp in is Kent Zoe. It's the last one down.
 
Thanks for that Atari, I'll look into whether either of the LFS stock that, don't want to buy too many different foods atm, thought I'd buy a different one with each new fish & more than likely Mysis next depending on the next type of fish bought.

Should I have turned the PH's off when feeding? he did /seem/ to have fun chasing the food, but as I said I dunno whether he ate it all to know whether I under/over fed him?
