i have a 30 day old 90g reef tank that spits out bubbles every 5-10 seconds. There is a sump below with the pump being fully covered and smooth water (i.e., no vortex or air getting in there.
There is a slurping noise at the top of the tank that immediately preceeds the bubbles. Seems like the air could be coming in the little hole on the pipe leading to the nozzles that is there to prevent the nozzles from siphoning down to the sump.
Any ideas on fix????
