Niger Trigger

I was thinking about getting a Niger for my tank, but I have read that they can get up to 19 inch. If that is true then there is not much room left for anything eles. THey say they can live in a 75 gal. Seems to me like that would be the only fish in there then. Am I right?

I had a niger trigger. he did not do well living with an undulated trigger but then again what does. He was no where near 19inches. I doubt that they get half that size in a tank.

I have read that the Niger gets to 9". I suppose it could depend on the size of the tank however. I love my Niger. He's very docile and gets along with everyone, including my anemone! 8O

You should do okay. This is one of the more docile triggers and a beautiful fish.

It doesn't matter how big the tank, the fish will grow till it reaches its maximum. I have read that they get 16 in.
