I am in charge of purchasing a few digital cameras for the college and I saw today that Nikon has some great mail in rebates on their coolpix product line. Some of teh rebates are rather attractive.
Coolpix 2000 $50 rebate
Coolpix 2500 $50 rebate
Coolpix 3500 $50 rebate
Coolpix 4500 $200 rebate
Coolpix 5000 $200 rebate
Coolpix 5700 $100 rebate
These rebates are factory rebates so they come off the top of the price you get them from the store or online. If you get a good deal online and then add this rebate to the savings you can really score good.
BTW, the camera I purchased for over $600 is in bold and has a $200 rebate. That would put the camera down in the $400-450 price range. A top notch 4 MP camera with great macro and optics.
