Nitrate levels

Hi, I need to do a proper test but my Nitrate levels are really high. I have used the stick that tests various things and every thing apart from Nitrate are good. Got an outbreak if Cyno and green hair algae.

Any advise how I can get these levels down quickly?

Water changes are the best ways to bring levels down. The larger the water change you can do the more you will bring down your nitrate lvls.
