No timer and plants

So I'll be gone three days this weekend and I have a few plants I am growing in a 5g until my 29g is ready. I don't have a timer yet and I'm not sure how my plants will do. Can anyone give me a tip or some knowledge please?

Leave the lights off, they'll be fine..
I ship plants, pitch black and out of water for 3-4 days, no problem. If anything it will clear up some algae
