Not sure for new fish

I have a 55 gallon tank that I'm currently cycling and i am trying to to decide what type of fish to get
It's just a room tank not a show case or anything but ill like some fish that are colorful and under 10$ a fish

Pearl Gouramis or angelfish with glow light tetras would be nice with some corydoras

The Green Severum is a good large fish as it's not extremely aggressive but can handle much more aggressive fish. Gouramis are good as mid size and Tetras for smaller sizes. Ok thank you I think I'm going to go with 1 common pleco mabey 2 cories 10 rommynose Tetras and 1 green severus and a firemouth
Mabey something different
With that combo I'm scared that it will look awkward with 2 big fish and the rest small

Skip the common pleco and look for a bristlenose. Commons get way too big for a 55g.
