My clowns seem to be behaving oddly. Both of them keep twitching once in awhile. They usually swim vertically up then twitch/shake their bodies. What are they doing? sign of distress? ich?

TIA

Mine have been doing that on and off since I've gotten them. They are likely just fooling around with each other. As long as they aren't twitching or or against anything, I wouldn't worry about it. Mine have been perfect.

They are pairing up. One is showing dominance over the other. Expect to see one start to grow larger than the other.

Mine has been together for almost 5 months. The "smaller" (used to be) one became the female and got bigger than the male. She's abit more aggressive than her docile partner. I don't think they are twitching to pair up. I hope they are just playing around...

It's their little happy dance. Mine have been doing that for years.
