OMG - Whats going on??

Hey,
I have 1 sucking loach and 1 paradise fish.
I saw a little black thing zipping around my tank tonight,
I havent seen it before - i wondered if i had just missed it because i only saw it out the corner of my eye.
Its a little black 'fish' i think,
Its attaching itself to the plants in my tank just like my sucking loach,
It couldnt possibly be a baby sucking loach could it?
I mean there is not another loach to reproduce with so what is it?

It looks like a little sucking loach or some little fish thats attaching itself to
the plants like the sucking loach??
My 2 now ex platy's had fry yet i thought they had all died as she had them so quickly i didnt have time to move them - it is around 1 -2 weeks since she died after giving birth,
Could it be a baby platy?
HELP!?!
Does anyone know of this?

i cant get a picture of 'it' - i've tried
it only comes out during feeding or at night - not during the day
