oscars and crickets...

okay.. i may be reaching here but stay with me... im gonna have 2 oscars later today... i already have cichlid flakes at home... i already have frozen brine shrimp... i plan on getting some earthworms... i read also that one of the best food for them is crickets... i used to have leopard geckos and fed them crickets... i would feed the crickets high nutrient food which would transfer to the geckos... can i do this with oscars?... is there something i can feed the crickets to make them better for oscars?... lemme know guys... thanks...

That gut load will be fine. Pellets will be enough for their main diet, everything else is just treats. Stay away from live fish, they are not really designed to eat them and its a great way to get your prized pet sick.
