My favorite one is the first. Flourishing. Is the water level so low b/c of the skimmer?

Thanks, the water level is low because this particular type of tank as an overhead filtration system and I like the effect of the water free falling into the tank. It helps aerate the water a little better and also I like the gurgling noise it makes while the water falls ... Kinda soothing... The tank is in the living area.
