have used the Eshopps overflow before. It worked flawless for me, good choice. I removed that sponge thing from the pvc pipe, you don't need it and it just accumulates a bunch of crap. If you think it is too noisy (its not that noisy) then post again, there are ways to make it more quiet.

ok thanks ryshark yea i have been using a diy overflow pipe you can see it in my album but thats before i shortend all pipes and turned them so that it hugs both sides inside and out of tank on back wall its worked great for months but my family says it doesnt look good so i orderd that one.so noise doesnt bother me it actaully puts me to sleep lol its still in pa i just checked the fedex tracking i live in al
