Looks the same but the black lines werent that long.

i can kinda see the head and neck blueish but not yellow at all, but im guessing since hes a juvie it wont show up for a while and thats what ive read as well.

Added more rock to raise my coral level to the light. I think i have plenty of rock now. Maybe too much. Heres a low quality FTS.

Hey paul I finally got him home, he's definitely blue faced and a slight hint-o-yellow on his back half, I love him.

Hes awesome! Hope he does good for you. Mine always liked to sleep in the silicone corner of my tank, wonder if yours will.

Moved some coral and rock around in my tank. Had to move my homefeild acan to the right side of my tank to give my open brain more room. It gets pretty big when fully expanded. Also moved blue sympodium up to better light and flow, it hasnt been growing but it stays alive. Im actually happy with the way things are for now! Lol heres pics.

Much needed room for brain! (Its closed up because i just moved it a bit)

So its a very sad day because the best saltwater pet store is closing down. That leaves one other in my area. Everything marked down to go. By the time i knew about it 90% off all the livestock was already gone! I did get some good frozen fish food and a super awesome lobo that ive always liked. Ill post pics up later its still acclimating. A sad day indeed though they got 75% of all my saltwater business. Expanding the doggy day spa! Oh well it happens.

Heres my new lobo! It is light in color as were the other 2 they had but this one has alot of pink in it. Cant tell with these cell pics. I hope it does well! I was going to keep it in the sand but im thinking of putting it on a little rock ledge just a little up from the sand. I marked it with a red X. Tell me what you think of that placement. Any info apreciated!

Lobo is doing great. Actually had to get up at 4 in the morning for work and checked it with my red led flashlight and its feeding tentacles were out. But instead of just placing my lobo frag in that red X..... i moved other coral. I have noticed my sps frags werent getting enough flow especially the pocilopora (probably mispelled). I moved them to the right side where the return is flowing out and moved the galaxea to the left side. Also put the lobo a hair higher than intended but still on the verge of shade. I made it to were i can push that rock into the cave for less light if needed. Either way, i think that i think and worry too much on these tiny things but heres pics. Hopefully soon i will get decent quality pics and a video up of my tank.

awesome paul, just awesome, i wish i could get my tank to look like that, i love the scape i think im going to redo mine completely with base rock then my pukani on top. is that natural coraline or is that purple rock?

Thanks guys. Its coraline, all the rock was originally white or grey. It just takes time, patients, & just a little hair pulling. Just make sure calcium and trace elements are good and the purple coraline will spread. Best to try to get a couple rocks already covered in it to let it spread. You can also shave some off of a rock with a razor to release it into the water and help it spread. I love it on my rock....but not on my glass! It can be pretty tough.

Oh and if you rescape. Make sure you get the base rocks under the sand on the bottom of the tank for stabillity. My tank was probably 85% base rock.

i know ive seen some spots on glass that shrug off a magfloat like steel. but i think im going to do that though, ask my lrs to shave some off for me and put it in a bag so i can spread it in my tank. i have some spots but nothing major yet.

and it looks really good completely covered, but when its just that dirty tan color i cant stand it in my tank, i love the look of pukani rock but its hard to get it stacked high.

Great! If your tank is glass shave it off with razor and itll release into the water! My rock is mostly dry lace rock. It was cheap but i had to clean it good. I just got my live rock from my local fish store that is no more. :(

Got a great deal at my favorite LFS that is going out of business today! An almost brand new hydor korialia 1400, a large magfloat, and one of those acylic viewing rings you can float on the surface of your tank to view it clearly from above for $23!!! Now thats a deal. The power head is about $65. Large magfloat is about $35. And thay viewing ring is about $30 or more i think. Very satisfied with the deal... very unsatisfied with my #1 reef store closing. So now i have 3 powerheads alternating with my hydor smartwave controller! Its pretty awesome.
