peacock moss rare, why?

Got on ebay.ca today to get some peacock moss. Found 2 place end they sell it at the price of gold. Any reason for that? I did buy peacock before and it was not that expensive. Also it seem that they take xmas moss and other on the same name.

I just buy it from Hobbyists. Much cheaper. The Planted Tank is free to join and has awesome sales. AA sometimes has mosses for sale as well.

Mosses are always really expensive. It was $6 per portion for both my christmas moss and my java moss. I looked on ebay real quick and found this:
