Everything i read says 250ml easily treats 75 gallons. I am about to start dosing on my 55g as my phosphates have gone up to between .05 and 1. Would cutting down to 150 ml be a safe starting dose ?

I just added this to my 125 as the liverock I bought is leaching phosphates like crazy. How do you guys set it up? I bought like a mesh bag at the fish store and have it hanging behind my overflow intake to get the water moving through it, can I just put the bag in my sump? Will that be enough flow through?
