Pictus catfish?

I currently have 5 tiger barbs, 2 dennison barbs, 3 red platys, and 1 clown pleco in my 45 gallon. My boyfriend would like to add a pictus catfish and I've heard mixed reviews about them. What do you all think? Thanks!

I have them in my Malawi tank and they are really calm and like to hide a lot during the day and play at night. I don't see a problem with them, what have you heard?

I've heard that they can be territorial and will try to eat my smaller fish.

In groups of 3 I can see them being a little territorial but they ( at least mine do) stay at the bottom. I don't see them really bothering other fish imo.
