Other piranhas in a huge tank, they're not very good community fish... Unless you have a decent size aquarium to house a school of 12 inch fish I would recommend getting one.

These were my starter fish years ago(now i'm all salt),,It really depends on what you have..Red bellies school good in 75 gallons or more..I had 5 in a 75 for years.Piraya and caribe can school too..Black or gold ones NEED to be alone ,,no matter the size of your tank..
