Plate coral

Came home Christmas night and found my firefish in my corals mouth. I am wondering if the fish died and somehow ended up falling onto to plate coral or is the plate coral killed my fish? Just put the fish in my tank Friday night. I'm hoping it didn't just die. All my water parameters are good.

Expensive meal! Hard to say, but I have a hard time believing a fungia caught a healthy fish.

? I'm clueless? I acclimated fish properly and all parameters are good. The other fish I added are doing fine so far. Thank goodness it was 8$. I still feel bad for the fish :-(. Thanks Mr. X for all your help and responding to my post!
