Hi,

I currently have a 10 gallon tank with a couple guppies in it. Today I came across a guppy currently as I’m writing that can’t swim right, lays upside down, tries to swim but always ends up sinking again. There are red patches on the fins and bright red/pinkish gills. I thought it could be ammonia. I have a simple test which tests the GH, PH, Nitrate, Nitrite, and KH. Earlier today I actually bought a more thorough testing kit, separate ammonia tests, and ammo-lock. I think it could be ammonia poisoning. None of the other fish are affected. I did a 50% water change, and currently I use stress coat and a start right I believe. I don’t know if it’s possibly to save the little guy.... but I wanted to figure out what it was, if I can help it, and also how to keep the ammonia down if that is the issue...

yeah quickly do a 40% water change and him not swimming properly could be his swim bladder
