I just tore down a planted tank that failed miserably. I have decided that I'm going to try my hand at chiclids. Until I have the dough for my hard scape and chiclids themselves, I have my beloved pleco in there by himself with some driftwood to gnaw on.
My question is, do I need to turn on the lights for him or is the ambient daylight enough? It's a 29 gallon with T-5 lighting.
Thanks
