Pleco

My daughter would like to find a home for her pleco which is good sized. It is in a 30 gal tank with a fancy goldfish she wants to go back down to a small tank. That tank and pleco was given to her when a friend moved over a year a go. Do pet stores take them? He is fiesty when she cleans the tank he tries to jump out . Any help would be appreciated.

Any non chain pet store will usually take in fish. Certain petcos and petsmarts will as well. Call around first to make sure.

Yeah, if you go to a private owned fish store they might even give you store credit or let you trade for another fish. Chain stores will take your fish for free. +1 on calling ahead every store is different.
