Plexiglass

Hi all,

Is plexiglass safe for aquarium use? I am looking to make some raised areas in my tank. I'm thinking about gluing plexiglass to egg crate if it is safe to use.

Plexi glass is just acrylic sheet isn't it? If so then yea it's safe to use. People make aquariums out of it

Yes, as above - I use sheets from the hardware for tank covers and filter media dividers.
