Do female bristle nose get bristles ?? I have a blue eyed albino with NO and I mean NO bristles. My other BN has a full mustache (male)

My bristlenose, got it 10 days ago, was told it was 12 weeks old so don't know if its male or female yet. By far my fave fish ever but WOW how much poop?!!

That's for sure.. I can't keep up with my Adonis pleco. I don't get where it all comes from they eat algae for goodness sake! Lol

It was already dead. Pleco just scavenging. They don't fight other fish usually.

Is your substrate light colored? My 55 has a BNP with some white PFS and she changes colors and is blotchy as you describe , it is just a defense thing they do to blend in.

I have already rehomed him appropriately.

Yes my gravel is light color. So the blotchy is a defense mechanism? Just never had those before? Stress .....
