Wow, looks a ton brighter! How do you like them? I like to not spend a lot and get a lot, so I hope you're happy with them, too. Good deal.

It's amazing. I love it. Pictures doesn't do it justice. Thanks to you, I never would have purchased it lol

Whew! Glad to hear you love it, too! It's super bright and for that price, you can't touch it. You can tell how much it lightened up your tank in the photos.

Just be careful and hang on to that link in case you need another one in the future. There is a version 1 - 900 lumens , version 2 - 1800 lumens, and version 3 - 3100 lumens and you have to check the item details to make sure you get version 3. I'm about to order another one for a different tank as well.

Sure will. My cichlids are not to sure about the moon light yet lol. They seem to panic when I turn it on. But I'm not planning on using it much anyways

If I remember, I try to turn my moonlights on 1/2 hour or so before I go to bed. They do run and spaz a bit when you hit the light, mine do at any noise. Anyway, I'm training them to know that when the blue light comes on, find your hiding spot quick because the lights are going dark soon. Now, I hit it and they all go flat and scurry to their spots and then I shut it completely off before I head to bed. If I leave the moonlights on too long, they all just get back up and start chasing each other around, again just like it's day, so it doesn't work to be on all night for me. I like it off at night anyway.

That's neat. I might do that. So you pretty much have them train by moon light?

I'm trying. Mine lie down whenever the lights get dimmed, so I figured instead of just shutting the lights off on them while they are swimming around all happy and they freak out and say "oh no" and fight to hide, I would put the blue on and then go lights out so they have fair warning to go hide or get in their shells. See how much I care about them? LOL! I'm such a sucker for babying them.

My shellies go straight to their shells when I turn the moonlights on. Everyone else seems to go hide and find their spots. My males lie down, but will get up and chase if I don't go lights out soon. My tank's weird, though. I have one dominant male during the day and then a different one at night, by morning the two males have divided the tank up and stay on their own sides and after I turn the lights on, the day time male goes right for the night time dominant male and it's all over for him. The day male is the man of the tank again. Weird. That night dominant male must look bigger in the dark. LOL

Anyway, that's just what I do, my routine. The blues are bright and look really good. You might as well enjoy them for at least a little bit each night. Enjoy your new light. Your fish now have colors you didn't know they had and it's neat to watch them. Enjoy!

Lol. My female auratus and my male johanni will go back and forth on whose the boss of the tank. Every few weeks it changes. And I can tell whose in charge just by looking at my female auratus. If she is darker, then that means she is in charge and vice versa. Funny lil creatures.

My bowfeont display tank (firemouth platty daino and red tailded shark)
The other is my octagon which is now my convit breeder)

My tank. 34 gallon tank with 15 cichlid juvies in and 2 catfish.
The guy at the store said we would be better fitting 30 cichlids in there but I'm worried they will grow too big. I wouldn't want to rehome any of them.

My 55 gallon long Cichlid tank setup with Live plants. Running CO2(yeast/sugar). Plant ferts. Oxygen bubbler running 24/7. Doing it for almost 1 year and 1/2 now. Hope you enjoy!

This is my hard scape that I have set up for my cichlid tank so far. Gonna probably be a South American tank.
