Thanks, thinking about stacking another layer of rocks up, but we'll see how this works for now. I have 2 aceis, 2 red zebras and 2 kenyis.

Not to be mean or nasty but 40 gallons is pretty small for most mbunas unless you have a breeder tank that had the same length of a 55, you want at least 55 I wouldn't put any fish that gets bigger than 6 inch

It's i wide tank it's just as wide as my 80 just not as long or tall

I hope to get a bigger tank soon for them ,when ever I have the extra money that is. There only 2" right now I figured the 40gal would be ok for now

Yellow labs should be fine but try to stay away from the very aggressive one try Craigslist you can find cheap tank
