@ivan2020 cannot and should not are two very different things.

When I bought my first tank from local classifieds it included SA CA and African Cichlids all of which lived together for the four years with the previous owner. He said there were never any problems.

Now my tank is New World cichlids.

She's the smallest in the tank so I think she understands she can't pick on anybody. She's also a baby so she isn't showing aggressiveness yet. Do you think she will later?


You need to learn with Cichlids that doesn't matter if they grow together for 2 years, it an all kick off whenever they feel like it.

Auratus definitely have a bad reputation but you never really know if you get a nice one or not.
