powerhead questions

using two power heads, where is the best place to stick them so i dont end up with any dead spots? Also yay or nay on powerhead filters?

Place them on opposites sides of the back wall of the tank pointing forwards and inwards so they'll collide and create a nice random flow.

What do you mean by powerhead filters?

I wouldn't count on that as being your only method of mechanical filtration, a real HOB filter would be more beneficial to you
