pruning Cauliflower Colt Coral

I don't have a clue how to prune 2.. now large different growth of these..just guessing one i think would fill a 5 gallon tank by itself...any help thanks steve
 
If the coral can be removed, yay, otherwise they become a slimy ball of, well, slime. Use a sharp razor blade to cut through the flesh. If the base is twisting/separating you can cut down the "seam" or just cut through the vital lobes attached to the main stalk that make up the "branches." Think tree pruning ;) Make sure you have good water flow around the cut areas and it wouldn't hurt to renew your carbon. Oh, and I'd tell you to be careful with razor blades, but then I wouldn't be practicing what I preach lol
