Are long tip anemones the best for clownfish. And do they split and keep growing?

It depends on the type of clownfish. Different clownfish like different anemones, and even if you get the right anemone, the clownfish may still not care about it. Its best to just buy a clownfish that is already hosting an anemone from the store.
