QT fish back into display

Hi my clownfish is looking better he's been in the qt for a few days now but the water is looking murky and the filter isn't working should I put the clown back in the display ?or will he be fine in the qt?

Well if the filters not working the water will go stagnant and he will die in a bout 10 hrs. If you can get the filter working than keep him in qt but if you cant drip him back into the display.
