QT tank with nh3/nh4

My is about my qt tank.
I put an air driven sponge filter in my main tank 2 weeks ago. My qt tank has been filled up with fresh sw for 4 days with a ph in for aeration. What I need to know is will the tank go through a cycle if I put a fish in it now? I just would rather be safe than sorry.

Putting some filter media from the main will help seed the QT tank but you will still see a NH3 reading so have some SW ready for changes.
