QT tanks

I'm in the process of setting up a tank at my house. I'm in the process of getting everything and was wondering what most people use for QTs? I was thinking of getting a 10 gallon to use but I have heard of people using plastic tubs and what not that was able to contain a filter and heater. Thoughts?

i use a a bare bottom 10 gallon with fake plants and a air pump filter and a heater were i can control the temp

Thats what I am leaning towards now. I have fake plants and some gravel to weigh them down, but I need to got out and get the rest and was trying to keep cost down. It's probably better I do as I want to have some fish breed and I would keep it as a breeder tank.
