Question about water clarity in sump system

I'm running a 55 FOWLR with a 30 gall sump/refugium with a dsb. I moved some rock around and stirred up alot of sediment. I used to run a canister filter on the tank and that would clean up any sediment in a matter of hours but now I'm just rubbings a sump with an overflow box and protein skimmer and I'm not sure if the sediment will settle or be filtered in the sump or what I should do.

If you don't have any filter socks on the intake portion of your sump then I would recommend you go get some. That will really help with clearing up that sediment.
