Over the past couple of weeks I've started to offer my Pleco cucumbers or zucchini a few times a week. Well, me being the bad mom that I am... I forgot to buy more over this past weekend. I do have a couple of zucchini slices left over from last week, but they have light brown patches on them - it's NOT completely brown, not even close actually! This obviously means that it's no longer fresh and that it's starting to go bad. My question is, is it safe to still feed to my Pleco? Common sense tells me to trash it because it's no good, but I just wanted to make sure before I do. I know some people who feed their dogs a natural diet and they will still feed veggies that are starting to go bad with no problem. I was just wondering if the same is true for fish.
