I hate tests. Not doing them, I enjoy that.
What I hate is trying to figure out which color to match the result to.
Anyway, if I think my pH is low, how do I go about bringing it up?

This site my help you, helps me.what checks i got to do.

What is your ph at? How long has your tank been running? If your tank has just recently been set up you should just let it sort itself out rather then adding more chemicals to the mix which you will then have to continue to test for.

The first thing I would do is some frequent PWC`s. Test your PH out a little before the lights go out in the evening.
