The barbs would nip but as long as they are not long fin danios you should be ok it the tank is a least a 20H

The tiger barbs may nip them a bit, but just try to keep the barbs in the biggest school possible. The more there are in the school, the more aggression is kept to themselves and is not aimed towards other species. They should be fine, though.
