Questions about yasha/Pistol

I've got a yasha and a candy stripe pistol in my 55g with a firefish and a pair of clowns. The sand bed is caribsea aragonite and is a little over two inches deep. I know the yasha and pistol make a burrow so i dont know if two inches is enough. The sand is pretty course and I was wondering if i should add a finer sand. Another option would be for me to setup my empty 20galllon for them with a deep sand bed.

That should be fine. Adding a finer sand at this point wouldn't do anything anyway. It would settle and the finer sand would end up on the bottom with the larger you already have in there on top.
