3 days ago I found a large male 4.5" for my two female 3" Rainbows cichlids and I already have eggs! Mom is doing a very good job keeping watch and dad is guarding the outer perimeter.
I think these are the most underrated cichlids you never hear anything about them (at least I don't) but there colors are outstanding and rival anything out there, I wish I had a camera that pics up the blues and teals on the bottom and oranges and reds up top and in the fins. They aren't very aggressive but are territorial. They are usually out cruising the tank and not hiding like many others cichlids do. I have had the females for about 18 months and I love them.
They are currently in a 75.
