Rams and cherry sheimp

They can.... But the shrimp may end up as a snack. I've got some Blue Rams that occasionally will eat the smaller ghost shrimp in my tank.

I think almost anything that isnt herbivorous will eat adults, and everything will eat baby shrimp if they find them. I don't trust even corydoras.
German blues will eat shrimp, and I can't think of a cichlid even less likely to eat them! But that's ok. If you add a lot of hiding places, like a lot of moss, some shrimp should survive.
You might wantto try less valuable shrimp to see how it goes, like ghost shrimp or mutt shrimp or culls from your colonies yknow?
