Hi guys I have a delta therma heater in my tank and it keeps getting like this. Cloudy slime build up on the temp control on the tip and on the suction pads that hold it to the tank I clean it off and it builds up again within a week any ideas what that might be or if it's harmful to my fish or plants any help would be good as in pretty worried about my lil guys

Most likely the normal bacteria build up that occurs on substrate surfaces. You can simply wipe it off, as stated above, its not likely to cause any harm.

Ok thanks guys the tank has actually
Cycled but it's a new heater part of the trials and tribulations of owning my
First tank lol but I just wanted to make
Sure this wasn't ich as the fish are already being treated for that :( does the buildup stop or will it keep going there as it looks gross lol
