Red cherry shrimp

I just recently got 3 red cherry shrimp I have 2 live plants they seem pretty content with those will they be okay just eating algae off the plants or do they need more also the algae wafers I give them aren't really being touched

The best thing for shrimp is honestly moss balls, or some sort if moss like java, both really easy to maintain and inexpensive. Hope this helps.
