Don't worry about it. Light can penetrate a few mm and some will grow. If it bothers you you can always reach down with a scraper and remove it.

I've lost 2 false perculas, a tail spot blenny, and a yellow watchman goby so far... my corals are all doing great and already trying to grow, but I can NOT keep fish alive
yeahhh my little clownfish is really agressive and a lot of fish have dies, but he survives... and i have 2 black n white striped damsels.. but im not surprised if they die soon too ):
