Rena Smart Heater

My heater is flashing red rapidly however the temp is fine. I know when it does this it means the temp is too high however this is not the case. I'm wondering what others experiences are with these heaters? Is there a way to fix the flashing? I've heard of other (higher end heaters, although can't recall the name right now) is it worth the investment?

Mines doing the same due to my ac being out but my temp is to high, I've chilled the water down and it stopped

Apparently all you have to do is unplug it for 5 minutes and it re calibrates and then it's fine!! You think they'd include that with the instructions
