Aquarium Advice Newbie
I have been an aquarium hobbyist for approx. 35 years.
I have been away from the hobby for the last 18 years or so.
At one point I had 9 aquariums in my house.
a 75 gallon, three 36 gallon, two 20 gallon, and three 10 gallon aquariums.
I have many experiences, mostly good, and a couple of learning experiences as well from my early days (which can best be described as "Beginner's Luck").
My focus has always been on cichlids, and NA native fish (LM bass, SM bass, pickerel, perch, sunfish, sturgeon, catfish, etc.)
I have kept other fish over the years as well, like gar, arowanas, datnoides, archer fish, leaf fish, various gobies, etc. All kinds of different catfishes, & other fishes.
I have kept very-aggressive fish both SA & African cichlids.
(Tanganyikan, Malawi, Rift Lake, Lake Victoria, etc.).
I am returning to the hobby this Spring after an 18 year hiatus, and it is my intention to set up a 36 gallon Indian tank.
