So, Pretty soon I'm purchasing a 75 gallon tank. Eventually I want to get a few Discus once the tank is fully cycled and running for a few months after that. What I keep hearing is that Discus require really nice water quality. And Reverse Osmosis was mentioned in numerous articles.
Right Now im using Prime and tap water for my current 40 gallon set up. My tap has .25 ppm Ammonia and the Ph is 7.6. I want to get get GH & KH testkit to see how ard the water is..So I got to the thinking.
SHould I buy a R/O unit for my current set up and for the future set up? Is it a good investment?
And I also here I'm not supposed to use pure R/O water for fish, especially discus. Why is that? Would i just mix tap water in?
And from the reviews this R/O unit is clearly the one to buy.
