Boiling wont do anything rocks explode when the moisture in them evaporate and gas is trying to escape your boiling them rocks absorb water as well as evap

lol well if I see a crack I am ont boiling that sucker because I think it would hurt if a rock exploded in my face. Also I have my son and if something happens to him I will flip! There is also the test where you can leave them in the water for like a week, but should I still clean it?

Well, like I told you, I soaked mine in a bleach solution. When I first brought them home, I scrubbed them with a wire brush.
