I hate al that water going to waste and was wondering if I could use it for freshwater, directly in the tank as long as I add decholnator

I suggest using it for your toilets. We have a series of 3 55 gallon barrels with a pressurized pump. When we flush the toilet the pressure changes and the pump kicks on to refill the toilet.

Mineral content is too high to use it for much else.

You can run the waste line into your washing machine to save on water.

this is a great idea. I was debating on buying a small RODI system and the sink it would be connected to would be right next to my washer.

I'd run it outside. Mine has so much crap in it after it goes through the filter I wouldn't want it back into the copper plumbing, or anything with rubber gaskets. I send mine right back into the town sewer. I make up for it by sending my fw wcs into the garden.
